Take a few minutes to add any new vocabulary from the list below and the video. Más vocabulario- Add to your notebook está hecho de- made of cuero- leather seda-silk algodón-cotton poliéster-polyester plástico-plastic lana-wool franela-flannel caqui/kaki-khaki microfibra-microfiber tela de mezclilla-denim oro-gold plata-silver II. Los colores Today we will learn or review the colors in Spanish. Take a few minutes to add the vocabulary to your interactive notebook.
Remember 1) If you want to refer to a dark or bold color, you can use the word “oscuro” after the color. For example: Verde oscuro — Dark green Rojo oscuro —Dark red
Verde claro — Light green 2) Don't forget that colors are adjectives and so they need to agree in gender and/or in number with the nouns they are modifying! Examples: rojo/ roja rojos/ rojas amarillo/ amarilla amarillos/ amarillas 3) Some colors are invariable: its form is the same in masculine and feminine. Examples are "verde", "azul", "naranja" cafe" marrón'' beige" "gris" 4) And some do NOT change in number: (cafe-beige) Ex: La pluma cafe Las plumas cafe * modified colors like azul marino, rojo oscuro or verde claro Ex: La regla azul marino Las reglas azul marino Or colors which are part of the phrase "de color ______" or "color de ______" Ex: La regla de color rojo. GO to the student side of your notebook and follow the instructions below: Instructions: Color the pieces the colors indicated. Cut out the pieces and glue them to your notebook to create a scene with a house and a rainbow. Color, cut out and use the "Los Colores" tag to label your page (student side of the notebook). III. Un anuncio (45 minutes) Using the clothing, colors and numbers vocabulary, you will create a clothing add. Use computer paper or create a Google Doc. This assignment is DUE WED.
