Starting today April 13th Virtual Class Schedule NEW SCHEDULE
1. Our class will meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday @ 9:45AM-10:15AM. During our virtual class we will go over vocabulary , grammar and practice activities. 2. Repasito El imperfecto Hoy vamos a repasar el imperfecto. Necesitan tomar notas y prestar atención. ***Chicos take notes and complete practice activity. *** How do we conjugate in the imperfect tense? There are only two sets of endings for regular imperfect verbs, one for -ar verbs and one for -er and -ir verbs. Also, there are only three irregular verbs in the imperfect. No stem-changes, no spelling-changes. New endings Imperfect: Irregulars verbs (only three) Below is a list of "trigger words" that indicate the use of the imperfect. These words mean "sometimes," "frequently," "always," "Mondays," etc. They imply continuing or habitual actions with no specific beginning or end.

The imperfect is used to describe past habitual actions or to set the scene in the past, what a person “used to” do or “was” doing.

You will create a presentation in Google Drive where you will write 12-14 sentences and include pictures. Examples: 1. Cuando tenía ocho años, me encantaba beber leche caliente antes de irme a la cama. 2. Cuando tenía cinco años, siempre comía helado. 3. Use unlined white paper. 2. Title and symbolic border represents the theme(el pretérito). 3. Use colored pens, pencil, or markets. The more visually appealing it is the more you will learn. 4. Fill the entire page. 5. Include at least 3 illustrations to create a central focus to your One Pager. 6. In order, list all -ar, -er and -ir ending (you may create a chart). 7. Explain. How to conjugate regular verbs? 8. Explain. How to conjugate irregular verbs? Elaborate on the process and the differences with regular verbs. 9. Mention the exceptions when conjugating stem-changing verbs and spelling changes. 10. List, at least 10 trigger words. 11. List, at least five stem -changing verbs from each group.
