How to create your own Weebly site
On Weebly students will create their own e-portfolio, and website for their assigned projects. This site is easy to use the drag & drop website editor is stunningly simple to use, and appropriate for use with students of all ages. Creating this electronic portfolio will enable our students to express themselves creatively using a variety of multimedia features, all within a protected environment that they can control. Instagram
Authentic social media in Spanish to stay engaged by sharing pictures, videos and texts. We will create our own images by using an app such as PicCollage or a website like RedKid Sign Generator. We are also going to comment with a common hashtag that the class can see if we look up that hashtag to study/review vocabulary and grammar concepts. Just be creative and fun! Here are two ways in which we are going to use Instagram in our class:
1. Desafio Instagram-Instagram Spanish Challenge, where students(you) use particular hashtags every month staring on September 1st.
2. Caption your own photographs- in Spanish and have a conversation
Interactive Notebooks
We will use Interactive Notebooks for note taking, vocabulary and practice activities. The goal is to be organized for the year, prevent work from getting lost, and for students to take ownership of their Spanish Interactive Notebook.

- Extra Credit: If you like movies, find an account about películas. Do you like comics? Find an account that posts about los superheroes! Do you like fashion, check out #moda! Use it yourself to check out hashtags for the current topic you are studying in class (#comida #casa #familia, etc.) Es chevere! Fresco! Cool! Padre! Or just find a post you want to share and tag the class account in a comment.
Interactive Notebooks
We will use Interactive Notebooks for note taking, vocabulary and practice activities. The goal is to be organized for the year, prevent work from getting lost, and for students to take ownership of their Spanish Interactive Notebook.
Interactive Notebook: the right side is the "teacher side," and the left side is the "student side." On the right side students will take notes or include "how-to" information. On the left side students will do some sort of activity that allows them to practice, apply or explain the skill.
