IV. Mis classes I will go over class procedures. Computer use: You will have an assigned number. This number will be the same for your computer. You can only use the computer that has your number. It can only be used when the sign is on green. You need to return the computer to the bookshelf and please make sure you plug it in to ensure the next class availability. Cellphone use: Cellphones should stay in your book bag at all times, unless teacher give you permission to have it out or give you instructions to use it for educational purposes only. Essential Questions
1. How do I get to know others by sharing personal information? 2. What is my cultural identity? 3. How do we form and contribute to a global community? Objectives:
1) To develop intercultural understanding by reflecting on differences and similarities between cultures. 2) To describe aspects of the target language culture(s). 3) To compare aspects of the target language culture(s) with similar aspects in the student's culture(s). 4) To develop language competence . Reminders:
1) The use of translators is an honor code violation. It will result in a zero with no possibility of making up the assignment. 2) If you copy your work from somebody else, that is CHEATING! You both will receive a zero, and no option to re do. Always do your work, be honest and try your best. 3) Once the Unit ends, late work will not be accepted.
