Today we will learn how to use adjectives to describe yourself and others. How would you describe yourself? Good looking? Smart? Athletic? In this lesson we will learn how to use the verb "ser" (to be) to describe physical and personality traits.
THE MAIN USES OF SER: escribe (write) los ejemplos On opposite page of your Interactive Notebook, you are going to practice with ser and the adjectives.
Remember: adjectives must agree with (or match) the nouns in gender (masculine/feminine). If an adjective ends in -0, change it to -a to make it feminine If it ends in -dor, add an -a to make it feminine If it ends in -e or -ista, it is both masculine and feminine Example:
You will either draw 3 pictures: one of yourself, one of a girl, and one of a boy (yo, ella, and él). For each subject, you will write 3 sentences to describe them using the verb ser and an adjective from the vocabulary. You will have 9 sentences and use 9 different adjectives. Example: Yo soy baja (I am short). Él es bajo (He is short). Ella es paciente (She is patient). III.
