III. Hispanos Famosos Every year, from September 15th to October 15th, Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated. This month is dedicated to celebrating the culture, customs, and achievements of those with Spanish or Latin American roots. The term Hispanic or Latino, refers to Puerto Rican, South or Central American, or other Spanish culture or origin regardless of race. Directions: In honor of this month, you need to choose one of the Famous Latinos below and research a famous Hispanic person. Create an infographic that demonstrates the information you found out about this person. MUST INCLUDE: 1. Name of the person 2. Where is that person from? 3. Draw and color the flag of the country. 4. Date of birth (and death if no longer alive) 5. When is the Independence Day celebrated in this country? 6. Why is this person important?
