II. Subject pronouns and the present tense of –ar verbs Today we are reviewing subject pronouns, regular verbs and how they are conjugated in Spanish. Verb conjugation is very simple, but requires a lot of memorization. The following sites give you the directions for conjugating the three different types of regular verbs. If absent click on the following links and take notes: Subject Pronouns Regular Verb Conjugation I 1) Subject pronouns Take out a sheet of paper and get ready to take notes. Copy the chart below: 2) -ar verbs conjugation Copy the following conjugation of the verb trabajar (to work) and the sentences. 3) Replace pronouns with subject pronouns Copy the following examples and complete the practice activity. This activity will be on paper and we are going to go over it as a class. Keep the practice in your binder for future reference. You will have 20 minutes to work on the practice activity. I will introduce you to the website Conjuguemos.com today. We will use it throughout the semester to practice vocabulary, grammar, and verb conjugations. If you received 90% or more on the –ar verbs quiz you are except from this assignment.
IV. Spanish I Review Continue working on your project- “cheat sheets” are due today for teacher review/approval and for the teacher to have time to make electronic copies for all students. Reminder: Review sheets are due TUESDAY Be ready to present on WEDNESDAY
