Today's agenda I. Repasito Translate the following sentences into Spanish: Do you speak Spanish? When is your math class? Who is your English teacher? We study a lot because there is a test. What day is today? What classes do you take? II. U2: Reading Assessment Today you will have your reading assessment for unit two (on paper). You will get a text in Spanish and you will answer 15 questions about it. IMPORTANTE: The use of translators is an honor code violation. It will result in a zero with no possibility of making up the assignment. III. Los verbos We are going to review the AR verbs and conjugations with Kahoot. Everyone needs to participate. You will work on a worksheet to practice writing affirmative, negative, and interrogative sentences. We will do this for the last 40 minutes of class. You may use your notes.

II. The present tense of -ar verbs Today we will learn to conjugate -ar verbs in the present tense. Let's get ready to take notes. Do you remember? To conjugate you must follow these steps: STEP1: Learn subject pronouns STEP 2: Learn -ar verbs endings STEP3: Conjugate-give different forms
When you finish taking notes, you are going to make a foldable for the -ar verb endings similar to the one you made for the subject pronouns.I will give you a piece of paper. Follow these directions:
1) Fold the paper in half from short end to short end (hamburger style) 2) Unfold the paper, and fold each edges towards the center. Your paper should have 3 sections 3) Cut the outer flaps into three smaller flaps. 4) Fold the flaps closed, and write the subject pronouns in order. Write "singular" at the top of the left column, and "plural" at the top of the right column.
When you have finished your foldable, tape it to your Interactive Notebook. Label it "Regular Present Tense -AR verb endings." Práctica: Conjugate 5 verbs from your vocabulary list. Do not conjugate estar or gustar.
