Remember in Spanish nouns have gender and they must agree in gender and number (singular or plural) with the article. Common rules: 1) Nouns ending in –o or –or are masculine
Generally, you can make a masculine noun feminine by replacing the “o” with an "a," but there are a few exceptions:
Making nouns plural: All nouns in Spanish also have a number, singular or plural (it is the same in English). It is rather easy to make singular nouns plural.
el chico > los chicos un chico > unos chicos When changing your article, make sure you pay attention to whether the article was definite or indefinite.
la nacionalidad > las nacionalidades
el lápiz > los lápices
