Cultura: La Semana Santa Around the World Today, we will explore customs, and the history of Semana Santa around the word. Semana Santa, the week leading up to Easter, is an important time in Spanich-speaking countries. We will learn more about Semana Santana throught a Webquest. 1) Go to Google Classroom. 2) Open the assignment called "Culture: Semana Santa" 3) Respond to the "Brainstorming" questions in Part I. Then, go to the Google Map link in Part II to help you answer the Webquest questions. 4) After you answer the questions in the document, create a presentation in Google Drive to show the information your learned in the webquest. Don't forget to compare Semana Santa in Spanish-speaking countries to Easter celebrations in the US. Include pictures. ¡Hasta el lunes!

Today, you will continue to work on your webquest about traveling by train in Spain. If you have already finished your project, you can move on to the final assessment for this unit. 1)You will make a list of your three chosen cities and write down the information you need on the planning document available in Google Classroom or a sheet of paper. 2)You are free to choose the format in which you would like to present your assignment. You may create a poster board, PPT presentation, Comic Strip, or Video. Don’t forget to provide illustrations with your descriptions. 3)Then, post your project to Weebly. If you created a physical presentation you can take a picture of the project to add to Weebly. III.
