lunes 17 de noviembre Today's agenda I. Repasito
II. Practica del pretérito Today we will go over the red handout as a class. Make corrections if necessary and keep the handout in your binder. Remember: when you look up verbs in the dictionary, make sure you are looking up the infinitive and not the conjugated verb (ex. "lose" instead of "lost"). If you type in the verbs exactly as they appear on your worksheet, you won't find any results. Do NOT use Google Translate. Look up the verbs in the dictionary or on WordReference.com. or Spanishdict.com Reminder: *The sentences that have stars next to them use reflexive verb in Spanish. The steps below explain how to conjugate them, but don't worry if you can't figure it out. Just focus on the other verbs.
me (yo) nos (nosotros) te (tú) os (vosotros) se (él, ella, usted) se (ellos, ellas, ustedes) III. Demonstrative adjectives Today, we will learn to use demonstrative adjectives in Spanish. Demonstrative adjectives are those adjectives whose function is to point at something. Let’s get ready to take notes and look at the examples below. Demonstrative adjectives 1. Copy and learn this chart 2. How to use demonstrative adjectives? Notice that demonstrative adjectives answer the question "Which?" in relation to the nouns that they modify. (Which book? The red book. The big book. That book. This book.)
3. Demonstrative Adjective Placement Demonstrative adjectives are typically placed immediately before the nouns they modify (Este libro rojo/Estos libros rojos). And if more than one noun is included, as in a series, the demonstrative adjective should precede each noun (Este vestido rojo, esta camiseta negra y esos libros). ¡Ahora a practicar! 1. Go to Google Classroom 2. Open the document titled, U3.7:Clothing & Colors Worksheet and follow the instructions. 3. Create a document in Google Drive to write your answers. 4. When you finish, click the blue "Turn In" button in Google Classroom. You'll have the rest of class to work on this. You may either write your answers on the paper or in a document on Google Drive. REMINDER: Study the preterite quiz tomorrow
