Remember- Copy 1-5 1. If you want to refer to a dark or bold color, you can use the word “oscuro” after the color. For example: Verde oscuro — Dark green Rojo oscuro —Dark red 2. If you want to refer to a light color, you must use the word "claro", except for the color blue, since the way to say "light blue" is azul cielo or "sky blue" in Spanish is: "Celeste".
Don't forget that colors are adjectives and they need to agree in gender and/or in number with the nouns they are modifying! ex: rojo/ roja rojos/ rojas amarillo/ amarilla amarillos/ amarillas 3.Remember some colors are invariable: its form is the same in masculine and feminine. Examples are "verde", "azul", "naranja" cafe" marrón'' beige" "gris" 4.
