Cuando una persona en los Estados Unidos se lastima muy mal, ¿qué hace? ¿Adónde va? 2. En los Estados Unidos, ¿qué hay en el hospital? 3. Explica con 5 frases la última vez que tuviste que ir al hospital. 2) Los mapuches Contesten las siguientes preguntas en sus diarios. 1. ¿Qué sabes de los mapuches, el pueblo originario de America del Sur? Si no sabes nada haz una pequeña investigación en la Red. Debes estar listo para compartir con la clase. 2. ¿ En qué se basa la medicina mapuche? 3. ¿Qué sabes de la medicina natural o tradicional de los pueblos indígenas de cualquier región o país del mundo? Pueden ver este enlace 3) Comparaciones En la misma hoja de papel, compara lo que sabes de la medicina tradicional y la moderna y lo que tienen en común. Puedes hacerlo en un organizador de comparaciones como Venn Diagram. III. El imperativo También vamos a repasar los mandatos informales y formales. Mamdatos informales En esta lección aprenderemos a conjugar y usar los mandatos afirmativos y negativos en la forma informal del imperativo.(familliar commonds). Formas Los mandatos informales o familiares In Spanish, we use commands to give orders or advice. Use los mandatos informales to give orders or advice to someone you normally address with the familiar tú.
Ejemplos de los irregulares afirmativos:
Sal ahora mismo! Leave at once! Haz la tarea. Do the homework. Ir and ver have the same tu command(ve), context will determine the meaning. Ve a casa con Avah. Go home with Avah. Ve este programa...es muy interesante. See that program...it's very interesting. DO YOU REMEMBER? Los mandatos informales negativos How to for negative tú commands: 1) Dropping the final -o of the yo form of the present tense. 2) For -ar verbs, add -es. Infinitive Present tense yo form Negative tu commands hablar hablo hables( tú) usar uso uses (tú) estudiar estudio estudies (tú) 3) For -er and -ir verbs, add -as ¡OJO!
decir -digo oir- oigo poner -pongo salir- salgo ver -veo venir-vengo tener - tengo hacer -hago ofrecer -ofrezco traer-traigo traducir- traduzco
The following verbs are irregular negative tú commands (SIDES)
Ser - No seas travieso. Don't be knotty Ir - No vayas a la playa. Don't go to the beach Dar - No me des tu tarea. Dont' give me HW Estar - No estés triste. Don't be sad Saber - No sepas la información. Don't know the information Mandatos Formales Formas Regular -AR verbs: 1) Take the “yo” form of the present: HABLO 2) Drop the –o: HABL- 3) “Hablar” is an –AR verb, so add –E to form the command: HABLE Regular-ER and -IR verbs: 1) Take the “yo” form of the present: REPITO 2) Drop the –o: REPIT- 3) “Repetir” is an –IR verb, so add –A to form the command: REPITA OJO! Think of the verb adding the “opposite vowel”: AR verbs add an –E. ER & IR verbs add an –A How to make the plural form
What about reflexive verbs? ¡Levántese! / ¡Siéntese! In affirmative commands, all objects are attached to the end of the verb. Levante + se Levanten + se How do we make negative commands in Spanish? ¡No fume! ¡No mande textos! ¡No use Snapshot tanto! Right – simply put the word NO in front of the command form. What about reflexive verbs? ¡No se levante! ¡No se siénte! In negative commands, all objects precede the verb. No se levante. No se levanten. No se siente. No se sienten Great review
