Today you take your Spanish I final exam which, will be completed in the format of a portfolio. You will complete five tasks in order to complete the final portfolio. These tasks are reading, listening, speaking, writing, and your Interactive Notebook.
1. Interactive Notebook - DUE TODAY! 2. Writing Assessment (30 minutes): you will respond to Xavier's email in Spanish on paper. 3. Reading assessment (30 minutes): you will read the text in Spanish carefully and answer the questions on Canvas. 4. Speaking assessment (20 minutes): you will be given five minutes to read the questions. During this time you may write vocabulary words, verbs, etc., on your paper but you may not write sentences. You can not use your computer or any other device during this time.

Today we will learn to conjugate and use another irregular verb in Spanish. The verb to go/ir can be use for announcing where you are going to or what you are going to do 1) The verb to go/ir can be use for announcing where you are going to. Here are the conjugations: 2) What you are going to do:
-Only the form of ir changes. The second verb remains in the infinitive form. -We use the same construction in English as a way of expressing a near future event. For example: Note: We never conjugate both verbs when expressing the near future. Contractions The verb to go/ir is often used with the preposition a (to).
