Essential Question: How well do I recall what I learned in Spanish 1?
Objective: I can use adjective and nouns in Spanish. AGENDA Hoy es jueves, el 24 de enero I. Repasito Write the question and answer in complete sentences or phrases. 1. ¿Cómo se llama tu madre? 2. ¿Tienes hermanos? ¿Cuántos? 3.¿De qué color es tu mochila? 4. ¿Qué necesitas para la clase de español? 5. ¿Qué clase tienes en tu segundo periodo/bloque? 6. ¿ Qué día es hoy? 7. ¿ Tienes una pluma azul? II. REVIEW STATIONS Today we will work in stations. There will be 7 stations and 4-5 students at each station at a time. You will be at each station for 20 minutes.
Station 1
Nouns and Articles Review Round 1: Review and take notes on gender and number of articles and nouns in Spanish. Round 2: Complete the worksheet. Include in your Apuntes/Notes: 1. Definite and indefinite articles 2. Nouns: gender, number & exceptions 3. Making nouns plural 4. You must be able to answer the following questions. 1. What is a definite article? Give the definite articles in Spanish. 2. What is indefinite article? Give the indefinite articles in Spanish. 3. How do I make a noun plural? Give examples Station 2 Adjective and Noun Agreement : Round 1 Review and take notes on adjective and noun agreement in Spanish. Be sure to answer the following questions in your notes. Round 2 Complete the worksheet and staple it together. Pay close attention to : 1. Nouns: gender, number & exceptions 2. Making adjectives & nouns plural 3. Ways to identify masculine or feminine nouns. 4. Adjectives you should pay special attention (they are exceptions to the rule) 5. Placement of adjectives in Spanish.

Spanish Subject Pronouns Round 1: Take Notes/Review subject pronouns in Spanish. Round 2: Complete practice activity worksheet. Pay close attention to: 1. Formal vs informal 2. When to use formal and informal 3. Difference between vosotros and ustedes. Station 4 Writing Prompt: En una hoja de papel. Para entregar!! Create a written sketch of one of your classmates. * Find a partner. Tell me: ¿Cómo se llama? ¿Cuántos años tiene? ¿De dónde es? * Detail him or her, and also make use of physical and personality descriptors (alto, rubio, amable, cómico). You MUST include at least 4 personality treats and 3 physical descriptions * Talk about likes and dislikes ¿Qué le gusta hacer( 2 cosas)? ¿Qué no le gusta hacer(2 cosas)? If you do not know your partner, get to know him/her!!! 5-7 Complete sentences en español
Station 5
Listening comprehension: You will listen to two short videos of native speakers. Then, on a separate sheet of paper answer the comprehension questions.
Video #1: Escucha y responde en español. 1. ¿Tiene ella una familia grande o pequeña? 2. ¿Cuántos hermanos tiene? 3. ¿Cuántos hijos tiene su abuelo?
